People First: Celebrating International Women’s Day at Strategic Sports

At Strategic Sports, our People First value means recognizing the people who make our company what it is. On International Women’s Day, we take a moment to celebrate the many women who contribute their talent, leadership, and dedication across every part of our organization.

Today, women represent 44% of the Strategic Sports workforce, working across a full spectrum of roles—from skilled production teammates on our factory floors to engineers, managers, and senior leaders guiding the future of the company. Their work, ideas, and leadership are an essential part of what makes Strategic successful.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we hosted special gatherings at our facilities where our women teammates were recognized with a company dinner, flowers, and gifts. The events were simple but meaningful moments to say thank you for the contributions they make every day.

Supporting our teammates also means supporting the realities of life outside of work. For many families, balancing careers and childcare can be challenging. That is why Strategic Sports has long invested in programs designed to make it easier for employees to focus on their careers while knowing their families are supported.

At our Dongguan facility, Strategic has operated an after-school day care program for 18 years, created in response to the needs of working parents. Since launching in 2007, the Day Care Class has provided a safe and welcoming place for employees’ children after school, including meals, supervised activities, and homework support. By the end of 2024, the program had provided more than 8,000 after-school care sessions for employees’ families.

The program not only helps children grow in a supportive environment, but also allows parents to focus on their work knowing their children are nearby and well cared for. Building on its success, Huizhou Strategic launched its own Day Care Class in 2024, and our Vietnam Factory just open its own Day Care Class, expanding this support to more families within our organization.

International Women’s Day is a moment to recognize progress and celebrate the people who make it possible. At Strategic Sports, we believe that building a strong company means creating an environment where everyone can grow, contribute, and succeed.
