Advanced Engineering for the Jumper Ring
The K-54 SV is a purpose-built hunter jumper helmet that covers every fit variable your retail partners encounter. Three shell sizes, a wide-range dial fit system, and easy-to-adjust strap yoke means the K-54 can accommodate a wide range of head shapes, riders and ages while providing a great fit and all-day comfort.
The construction starts with a unique hybrid shell design. The upper is made via Strategic Sports’ proprietary lightweight injection molded shell construction, and the lower shell is in-molded, the same process used in most high performance cycling helmets. This results in an exceptionally light, but incredibly durable helmet.
And because every day can be a show day, the K-54 is available with brilliant metallic trim and rhinestone options. Premium leather upper straps and a plush padded chin give the rider the refined feel that hunter jumper competitors expect. A short visor keeps sight lines clean on sunny days and bright indoor lighting.

ERT™ Changes the Game
Most equestrian helmets are designed only to pass lab certification tests, which require dense EPS foam to withstand extreme peak impacts. The tradeoff: that same stiff foam often underperforms in the moderate, real-world falls riders actually experience. A sideways tumble at a low jump. A slip at canter speed. An impact against soft arena footing that barely compresses the liner at all, which can result in concussions and TBI’s.
Softer is smarter. Patented ERT™ (Energy Reduction Technology) is Strategic Sports' patented, proprietary low-density polymer layer, molded in a grid structure and placed between the rider's head and the EPS liner. This soft, lab-tested layer activates the moment impact begins well before standard EPS foam starts to compress absorbing energy across a broader range of g-forces and impact angles.
